In 2009, Bowman Bowman Novick was hired to design a new Chapter House for the Delta Theta Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega at Kansas State University. The new house has design features that reflect lower maintenance costs, improved energy efficiency and incorporate sustainable features. Amenities will include state-of-the-art technology, improved security, individual and suite style room configurations, a chapter room, a dining room, a recreation room as well as study areas, an exercise room, a theatre, and a business center. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The site for the new chapter house is immediately east of the current facility, allowing the men to occupy the existing house during construction. Upon completion, the existing facility will be demolished and that site would be utilized as parking.
