Project Legacy Park

Lee’s Summit’s Legacy Park is a true community park, offering a variety of active and passive recreation facilities within a 700-acre site. Nearly 70% of the site is planned to remain open, allowing for natural picnic areas, walking trails, a lake and green vistas that surround the sports venues located in the heart of the park. The park plan features a rigid geometry reminiscent of a grand formal garden, where tree-lined allees enhance legibility and way-finding from a semi-circular drive through the park’s core.
