Scott Bingham, Director of Landscape Architecture

ASLA, PLA, LEED-AP

Scott grew up with an interest in architecture, but discovered the field of landscape architecture at a Kansas State University Open House. He was immediately drawn to how the discipline incorporates creativity with an understanding of natural systems.

Today, as a landscape architect, Scott often finds himself integrating both aesthetic and environmental site issues within a fluid design. His projects range from designing urban plazas with unique water features to incorporating green infrastructure into large engineering projects. For each challenge, Scott sees an opportunity to use the built environment and natural elements to create thoughtful spaces with their own unique experience.

Scott’s process in finding a successful solution begins with listening to all the different individuals that are impacted by these outdoor spaces. This comprehensive approach produces spaces that look better, feel better and work better for the long-term.
