The renovated Kansas 4-H Foundation provides the 4-H Administration Team with a fresh new work space, with the concept of bringing the “outside” in, to create a playful space for visitors and staff alike. The flexible plan accommodates multiple workstations in a central, open area, while providing opportunities for conversations and collaboration within a comfortable, living-room setting. The central zone is surrounded by transparent room partitions optimizing views and allowing natural daylight to permeate the space, while facilitating opportunities for formal or informal private meetings. The administrative office includes updated finishes and furnishings, utilizing embedded technology and wall art to showcase the 4-H mission. BBN Architects worked closely with the 4-H Foundation Administration leaders and staff to transform the existing space into a refreshing and youthful environment while maintaining an expedited timeline.
