In the summer of 2023 Cornerstone Family Counseling opened their new addition and remodel. The addition realized their vision to double their staff of mental health service providers, a welcome addition to the Manhattan community.

The existing 1970s era office building experienced episodic changes over its history with different owners and tenants. Cornerstone has regularly put in sweat equity to improve the interior spaces since owning the building. Recently and separate to this project they made significant investments to improve the exterior and improve the parking. Renovations in this half of the office included expansion of the front lobby and improved finishes in the public areas.

The addition is separated from the existing building by a connecting link and outdoor garden space. The form and appearance was defined by the existing office with effort made to harmonize with the surrounding context.
