Project Hale Library Addition – Kansas State University

The existing library consisted of a 1927 Campus Gothic structure, with poorly integrated additions dating from 1951 and 1970. This comprehensive expansion/renovation project doubled the size of the existing campus library and produced a coherent internal circulation system. The addition encapsulates much of the existing library to aesthetically unify the building with the Gothic and Romanesque character of the surrounding campus.
