Project Chi Omega Chapter House Renovation – KU

The comprehensive renovation and historic preservation of this unique sorority house was accomplished within a stringent 11-week time frame and remained true to its budget of $1.5 million. Listed on the State Register of Historic Places, the building is significant for its rare Jacobethan style architecture. The improvements restored architectural features and incorporated a full spectrum of life safety systems, ADA modifications, and technological and convenience amenities. Enhanced plaster ceilings and elegant woodwork was restored and mechanical systems updated. Dormitory spaces were remodeled and bathrooms were expanded to enhance the quality of living for the 85 residents.
