This redevelopment adapted a 1960s park from its original aquatic focus to one with a broader appeal for the surrounding community.  A variety of playground venues, including a 15-jet interactive water feature, new play structures and a nature-based play area, replaced the dated public pool facility. These features are complemented with three new tennis courts, extensions to the recreation trail, a series of picnic shelters and a restroom facility that creates an ideal setting for events, gatherings, and general fun.
