Project Midwest Dream Car Collection

The Midwest Dream Car Collection began as the private collection of a local family. Their generous vision of sharing the collection with the public became a reality in 2019 when a former grocery store was remodeled to become the facility we see today. Project program included a large showroom for over 65 vehicles, a detailing shop visible to the public, private event space, visitor lobby and lounge, restrooms, and back-of-house storage for off-collection vehicles.

The architecture was conceived as “background” allowing the detail and ornament of the cars to be the feature. Wall graphics, historical objects, and audio / visual enhancements animate the space.

BBN provided full architectural services.
