A devastating tornado destroyed 80% of the existing Chapman High School building, only the original 1930’s County High School gymnasium and the 1960’s multi-purpose/music room portions of the building were salvageable. The new, 87,000 s.f., construction includes a 750-seat auditorium, a library, an administration wing and replaces all academic classroom.
