Project Kappa Delta Remodel – KSU

BBN Architects’ concept for the renovation of 21 Sleep & Study Rooms was inspired by the creative use of modular furniture previously employed by the 65 residents to make their rooms more efficient.  By reconfiguring room entrances, BBN achieved 3-girl and 4-girl Sleep & Study Room layouts that optimize effective storage space and add comfortable amenities for group and independent study.  An array of fully outfitted casework provides wardrobe, dresser and vanity stations, work surfaces with overhead storage and display shelving for each resident.  The most unique feature of the Sleep & Study Rooms is the built-in upholstered chaise lounge with gliding storage bins below.
