Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Parish in Overland Park, Kansas recently completed the construction of the new Fiat Center addition in response to an increasing need for functional, accessible gathering spaces that will accommodate a variety of activities for their ministries.

BBN’s design for the Fiat Center offers flexible meeting spaces, conference rooms, and accessible parish offices with daylighting and integrated technology; providing an efficient work environment for parish staff, and a more welcoming, hospitable facility for all parishioners and visitors. The form and materials of the building were selected to complement the existing buildings within the complex and to enhance the character and charm of the original historic church structure.

Phase Two of the project includes plans for an expansion of the church narthex to create a more spacious and welcoming entrance and a more contemplative space in the sanctuary. It will also provide an enclosed connection between the expanded narthex and the new Fiat Center.
