2019 Bowman Forum –
Polk Stanley Wilcox visits with 3rd Year Students

The annual Bowman Design Forum was introduced by Kansas State alumnus Brent Bowman to expose third-year architecture students to the field’s top professionals. This year’s jurors were Reese Rowland and Patty Opitz of Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects, Little Rock, AR.

Student participants compete through submissions of innovative design for financial scholarship awards. This year’s Honor Award went to Matthew Cox, Special Merit Award to Braydn Voorhees, and Finalist Awards to Seth Campbell, Donovan Douglas, and Mica Ratzlaff.

2019 Water for 2060 Award –
Administration / Laboratory Building

BBN Architects was honored that the Coffee Creek Water Resource Recovery Facility in Edmond, Oklahoma received the 2019 Water for 2060 Excellence Award from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board.

BBN is passionate about sustainable design and seeks to implement conservation strategies in every project be they certified or not. We are committed to the thoughtful integration of our buildings and landscapes into the natural environment through the use of regional materials, and sustainable design strategies.

2019 Historic Preservation Awards –
Theta Xi Fraternity and Private Residence

BBN Architects was honored that two recent projects – the Theta Xi Fraternity, and a local private residence – received Historic Preservation Awards from the Manhattan/Riley County Preservation Alliance.
